Know an alumnus, teacher, or supporter whose work in the arts deserves a permanent place at Evansville High School? Nominations may be submitted by alumni, directors, teachers, students, families, friends, past inductees, or community members. Self-nominations are not accepted.
Who is eligible
Nominees may be alumni, educators, or contributors to the fine arts at Evansville High School.
Alumni nominees must:
- Have graduated from Evansville High School at least ten years before the nomination.
- Have participated in a fine arts program as a student.
- Have earned distinction and success in the fine arts after graduation.
Educators and contributors are recognized for teaching, directing, mentorship, advocacy, volunteerism, or support that has had a lasting impact on the school’s fine arts programs.
What the committee looks for
Nominees should demonstrate excellence, leadership, achievement, or dedication in the fine arts, along with high standards of character, citizenship, professional courtesy, and artistic integrity. The committee weighs, among other things:
- Participation and leadership in music, theater, visual arts, dance, media arts, or related activities.
- Individual, group, conference, state, regional, or national honors.
- Contributions to arts education or advocacy.
- Professional, collegiate, or community accomplishments in the arts.
- Outstanding service or support provided to Evansville High School fine arts programs.
- Long-term dedication to fine arts opportunities for students.
How it works
- Submit a nomination online, or by completing the printable form and emailing or mailing it to the committee.
- The nominee is contacted and asked to provide a résumé or C.V. showing their contributions to the fine arts.
- The committee reviews all nominations and votes at an official meeting. Inductees must receive a majority vote.
- Inductees are notified, and honored at the induction ceremony.
Nominations remain active for five years, so a nominee who is not selected in one year is automatically considered again. The committee sets deadlines and the induction timeline each year.

- Nominations due: November 15, 2026
- Inductees notified: January 15, 2027
- Induction ceremony: May 22, 2027

One form covers both categories — Alumni, and Educator/Contributor. You can submit it three ways:
- Online. Nominate online — fill out the form and click submit.
- By email. Download the nomination form (PDF), fill it in on your computer or by hand, and email the completed form to evansvillefineartshof@gmail.com.
- By mail or in person. Print the PDF and send or bring it to EHS c/o Fine Arts Hall of Fame, 640 South Fifth Street, Evansville, WI 53536
